A little app for logging tasks, meds and habits. Tap a task when you finish it and the time gets saved. So the next time you wonder if you already did something, you can just check.
Why I made it
Most to-do apps want a due date and a reminder for everything. That's great for appointments, but not much help with the small everyday stuff. Did I take my meds? When did I last water the plants? Has the cat been fed?
I wanted something that just remembers for me. There's nothing to plan ahead. You do the thing, tap it, and the time is saved. After a few days, the log starts to look like your routine.
How it works
Name it, pick a list, and choose how often. Once a day, twice a day, once a week, or whenever.
Whenever it suits you. Want a nudge? Turn on a reminder for one task or a whole list.
Familiar saves the time right away. Logged it late? You can change the time afterwards.
Features
Set a task to 2× a day or 3× a week. The ring fills up as you go, and a badge shows how many are left.
Some meds need a gap between doses. Set one, like 8 hours, and Familiar shows when the next one's due. Log one early and it checks with you first.
Give each list its own emoji and color, then tuck related lists into a group, like Pet Sitting inside Work.
Everything you did today on one timeline, plus how long it's been since your last entry.
Your log is the same on your phone and your computer. No signal? It saves on the device and syncs when you're back online.
Bigger text, solid panels, less motion, a 12 or 24-hour clock, and a later start to the day if you're up past midnight.
Off unless you want them. Pick a time for a task or a whole list, and you only get a notification if nothing's logged by then.
Skipping on purpose gets logged too, so a rest day doesn't look like a miss. Add a quick note to any entry, like "with food".
After a few days, Familiar learns when you usually do each thing. Open a task's history to see five weeks at a glance.
